Role-players are an odd bunch, always looking for something new. Over the years of playing games – commercial and home-grown – BCW~JZ encountered all types of directors (GMs, DMs or referees, if you prefer) and players. Most were decent and creative, though a few disruptive. Throughout his life and observations, Universal Tales forms and grew.
Universal Tales’ initial conception took place in 1987. Over the years, through many personal trials, the foundation developed into a grand platform that is still evolving. UT was not created for the common player – nor is UT for the online gaming-zombies. There are plenty other platforms for those of that ilk. Universal Tales is a platform for those relishing personal interaction at a grand scale, needing greater means for expression their creative expression and unique imagination.
